A little about me…

I’m Denise. I love the beach, sunsets, the color turquoise and travel. was born on Long Island NY and currently reside in New Jersey. I’m married and have a teenage son and a yellow lab mix named Cookie. I spent 20 years as a Director of Meetings & Incentives. I stumbled upon an Origami Owl locket in January of 2013 with my sorority letters and colored stones inside. Within three hours of seeing that locket, I ordered a business starter kit. I didn’t know anyone who sold it and this was my first social selling company. I figured that the worst thing that could happen would be that I’d have a giant box of amazing jewelry. I set out to make enough to cover my $399 kit. I did that in the first week in business. I continued to share the Origami Owl line and mission with many people during that spring and summer and welcomed over fifty new designers to my team that year. I have had so much fun and made so many amazing friends with this company. Our annual conventions are like a big family reunion.  I will probably blog about all of these things!

I was blessed to earn the first ever incentive trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico that year. Once you travel on an Origami Owl Incentive trip, you don’t ever want to miss out on another! I am proud to say that I have consistently worked my business, sponsored new designers and developed leaders for the past 3 1/2 years and have earned all four incentive trips and working on qualifying for my fifth. I have been blessed to visit Cabo, Maui, Naples FL and Cancun Mexico. Our next trip is in March 2017 aboard the Norwegian Escape. I’ll be celebrating a *big* birthday on that ship. I cannot wait! Something tells me that might wind up here on the blog, too.
